I’m new. Is there a beginner class? - Most of our classes have both beginners and advanced students mixed in. We often pair people based on their ability. However many of the more advanced students will also help you learn as you go. This creates a strong family atmosphere in which everyone is learning and growing together. Our advanced students love to teach!
Do I need to get in shape before I come in? - No! One of the most common misconceptions about this sport is that people need to be in shape already to do it. Nothing could be farther from the truth. This is where you get in shape. And you will get in the best shape of your life! We’ve had students lose 80lbs in less than a year! You won’t find a bunch of meat heads in this gym. Quite the contrary. We have a good mix of advanced students honing their skills, regular people trying to meet their fitness goals, and people trying to shed some serious weight as fast as possible.
Is this a good class for women? - Yes. We have lot’s of female students already. You’ll fit right in.
How old do the kids have to be for the kids class? - 7-13yr = Kids class. 14-80yr = Adults class.
Are there special rates for multiple kids? - Yes. And rates also vary based on the length of contract.
I want to try a class! - Great! Come to any class time listed on the schedule. Bring gloves, shorts, water, and 3 T-Shirts. (You’re going to sweat!) It’s $30 to try any class. (If you don’t have gloves, we have plenty of loaner gloves)
I’m ready! I want to sign up! - Welcome to the family! Bring a photo ID, Credit Card, and have your banking info (routing number or account number) handy.
Can I pay cash? - Pong offers lots of different packages to fit everyones needs. You can usually work out a payment deal with him.
What are the price options? - Prices vary based on length of contract. $90-$150 a month. Cash deals if paid upfront, seasonal training (3 months), short term (1 month), and no contract “month to month” can all be worked out. The best way to do that is to TEXT US and talk directly to Pong.
What equipment do I need? - We have Thai shorts, T-shirts, Shinguards, Wrist-wraps, and water for sale. You can purchase your own gloves online. We recommend using Twins Gloves. You can click here > “Twins Gloves” to be taken to Amazon. Other good brands include Fairtex, Top King, Windy, Venum, Reyes, and Winning. Avoid Hayabusa, Everlast, RDX, or other cheap “no name” gloves. You don’t want to injure your hand or sprain your wrist. Buy good gloves. They last 3 times as long too.
